This Sunday morning has some great news in store for fans of the bestselling “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy by author EL James.

While the recent update is still unconfirmed at this point, according to “Books and Review” this Saturday, author EL James has plans to write and publish a fourth book to her initial “50 Shades” trilogy. Not much has been revealed on novel number four just yet, but the gifted writer’s publisher did have some telling words to say.

Courtesy of “Fifty Shades Film,” a special edition and feature publication for the “50 Shades” series is set to hit U.S. newsstands later this week that will offer some very exciting—and likely long awaited—sexy news to fans infatuated with a Christian Grey of their own.

The “Fifty Shades of Grey” novel was a dark-horse story authored by now-top-selling author EL James, which tells the tale of the innocent and intelligent Anastasia Steele, 22, who falls into a lust-and-love relationship with billionaire and CEO Christian Grey, a man who practices behind closed doors the “sexual art” of BDSM.

Followed by two other bestselling novels in the series, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades of Freed,” the trilogy chronicles their budding relationship and complex lives as they realize there truly are fifty shades to a person—not just the black or white that can be seen on the surface. And while the love story between Christian Grey and Ana Steele looks like it may have ended, it may be too soon to say.

The social media site previously reported had some—still rumored, unfortunately—news for “50 Shades” fans:

“While we were waiting to get EL James’ autograph, a Vintage Books rep [publishing company] was talking behind [us.] He mentioned that there was … something ‘exciting’ in store for fans of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ and that it would be a fourth ’50 Shades’ novel! I sprang into action!” wrote one fan on Live Journal.”

Here were some of the included questions and fans that the fan allegedly asked the Books rep:

“So there is a fourth book for ’50 Shades?’

Yeah, there will be another book—number four—coming.

Well, what is it about?

Her publisher was just telling me about it … It was there [on her computer.] The fourth book … I’ve seen it.

And have you really read it?

I've read the first five pages so far.”

Whether true or not, it definitely sounds like good news for fellow fans of “Fifty Shades of Grey!” As for previous news on the hotly hoped for next book, “Hollywood Life” reported in May an interview with EL James. “The View” asked if she would be adding a fourth erotic novel to her bestselling trilogy, and the talented author replied:

“Who knows? Never say never!” she laughed.

Best of all, as the summer turns into fall, no doubt that the latest news on the confirmed “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie will be making its way into the public eye. While no casting roles for Christian or Anastasia are in the works just yet, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie will no doubt keep fans of the bestselling erotic romance novel series holding their breath for a long time to come.
